Getting Started

Over the summer, I watched a show. That show led to a book, and that book opened the door to a number of gay teen romance novels. I came to these novels from a place of transition: mid-pandemic, moving between cities, changing jobs.

These blog posts are a record of my journey. They aren't reviews, although I do occasionally pass judgment. They aren't my diary, although the writing is frequently personal. They are a reflection, a way to better understand each text, to better understand society, and to better understand myself.
